Emily hails from Ardmore, Pennsylvania just outside of Philadelphia. She moved to Massachusetts to go to Boston University where she studied Political Science, African Studies, and French. Upon graduating Emily decided the best way to use her degree was in craft beer (obviously) and she started working in the Harpoon Brewery Beer Hall. After 2 years of bartending, tour giving, a little bit of home brewing, and a lot of beer drinking, she followed another one of her passions and got a day job working in public health research. Not willing to give up craft beer and looking for a taste of a smaller, innovative brewery, she found her way to the Mystic tap room (with the help of fellow former-Harpooner, Will Molano). She loves serving up delicious, creative beers and hanging out with all of the awesome patrons of Chelsea and beyond. Emily also finds time to pursue her feminist artwork and she dabbles in chalk art. (You can see her designs on display on the tap room menu!)
