Mystic to Release Three Cranes Saison with Cranberries
Brewed with freshly harvested cranberries from a Massachusetts bog. Three Cranes Saison celebrates New England's native fruit and is named for one of the first taverns to brew in Massachussets, The Three Cranes Tavern.
The Three Cranes looked out over a young Boston at the now long lost marshlands filled with cranes and thier namesake, "bog ruby's," cranberries. The Three Cranes Tavern was destroyed by fire after 140 years of service to the local public. The cause of the fire was the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775.
The foundation of the Tavern was discovered during the big dig and can be visited in Charlestown's City Square. It's present day namesake beer can be found at many fine establishments in Massachussets starting on Friday November 16th, 2012 and is comming soon to select locations in Vermont.
